"Speak Up" Mural 100% Cotton Canvas Tote Bag

$12.00

Civil rights icon, statesman, and U.S. House of Representatives member for more than three decades, John Lewis of Georgia dedicated his entire life to the causes of equality and justice. He participated in sit-ins, freedom rides, and marches, and he was an organizer of the 1963 March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. His message of activism and advocacy adorns one of our Lower School buildings in a mural by artist Jo Edwards, reminding all who pass by that speaking up, speaking out, and getting in "good trouble" can be necessary and essential.
