Lower School Teaching Assistant

Hope Schnadenberg

TESOL Professional Certificate, Arizona State University

BA, University of Maryland Global Campus

Hope is a friendly, warm, and flexible teaching assistant who’s helped students in both general and special education classrooms. She’s great at creating welcoming, well-organized spaces where students feel comfortable and ready to learn. She especially enjoys working with students one-on-one or in small groups, giving each person the kind of support that fits their individual needs.

As a military spouse, Hope has lived in both Europe and Asia. Her time abroad, along with her degree in humanities, helps her connect with students from all backgrounds and bring a multicultural perspective to the classroom.

Hope is certified in adult and pediatric first aid/CPR/AED and trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). She is also certified in teaching English as a second language, having recently earned her TESOL Professional Certificate from Arizona State University.

Outside of school, you’ll probably find Hope soaking up the sun, relaxing with a good book, going for a slow jog, or spending time with her husband and son.
