Lower School Teacher

Sarah Davis

Sarah Davis joined The Linder Academy in 2022 and is happy to return to the Lower School team this year. She holds a B.S. in Recreation Therapy and brings a broad background in outdoor, behavioral, and experiential education, having worked with students of diverse learning and behavioral profiles in both academic and therapeutic settings.

Before moving into the classroom full time, Sarah taught at a wilderness boarding school near Asheville, North Carolina, directed an academic adventure program in Wyoming, and spent a summer in Peru, where her students learned Spanish through community immersion. These experiences strengthened her belief that learning is most meaningful when it’s active, engaging, and connected to real life.

At Linder, Sarah draws on those experiences to bring hands-on, experiential learning into a typical classroom setting. She uses Orton-Gillingham–based instruction and multisensory strategies to meet students where they are and help each child build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

When she’s not teaching, Sarah enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her son, Oliver. She loves exploring new places and finding creative ways to bring her sense of adventure into everyday life.
