Drawing on her background in pedagogical research, Karrah incorporates innovative strategies that blend academic content with real-world connections and imagination. Her teaching philosophy is rooted in curiosity, with the goal of fostering an environment where students are encouraged to pursue their interests, think critically, and take meaningful academic risks that build their confidence in the classroom.

Karrah holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in English Literature from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. Her teaching experience spans a wide range of settings, including high school courses such as A.P. Literature, A.P. Language and Composition, and Creative Writing.
