Coleson Portell

Coleson Portell joined The Linder Academy in 2023 as an Educational and Aftercare Assistant, where he plays an essential role in supporting both students and staff throughout the school day and during aftercare hours. Known to students as Mr. Cole, he helps create a calm, safe, and engaging aftercare environment where neurodiverse learners can relax, explore their interests, and build meaningful connections with peers.

In addition to his aftercare responsibilities, Mr. Cole provides support to teachers and administrative staff in a variety of ways. Whether supervising during field trips, assisting with dismissal, stepping in to give teachers a break, or covering the front desk, he is always ready to lend a hand wherever needed. His reliability, patience, and commitment make him a valued member of the Linder team.

Mr. Cole is CPR and First Aid trained and is eager to continue growing in the field of education. As he gains experience and learns from the skilled professionals around him, he looks forward to expanding his role in supporting neurodiverse learners.

Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and exploring new opportunities for personal growth.
