Jessica Brown is the aftercare coordinator at The Linder Academy, where she creates a welcoming space for students to relax, explore, and engage in hands-on activities after the school day. With a Master’s in Education from the University of Maryland, Bachelor’s degree in studio art, and training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), Jess builds a creative and fun aftercare environment tailored to neurodiverse learners.

As a substitute teacher, Jess seamlessly steps into classrooms to provide continuity and support for students. Her background in the arts allows her to bring creativity into her teaching, incorporating hands-on projects and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles.

Outside of school, Jess enjoys creating art and attending Washington Spirit games. She draws inspiration from both to design playful, dynamic experiences for her students.
