Dr. Jonathan Bramsen earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Clarkson University, a Master’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Binghamton University, and a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Binghamton University. He is currently completing a research internship at The George Washington University, where he studies cutting-edge cardiac therapies. His professional experience spans clinical laboratory work, quality control in the pharmaceutical industry, supporting pre-clinical drug studies at a contract research organization, and various entrepreneurial ventures.
Jonathan has taught as an Adjunct Instructor in Bioprocess Engineering and served as a teaching assistant at the college level for over 6 years in various courses such as MATLAB programming and Anatomy & Physiology. Having overcome his own early academic challenges, he brings empathy and resilience into the classroom. His approach emphasizes mentorship, curiosity, and building confidence, helping students see that setbacks are opportunities for growth.
Outside the classroom, Jonathan enjoys lifelong learning, staying engaged with emerging technologies, and biking around the DMV with his family.
